Show Notes

Matthew 20:20-28

James and John bring their mother to ask to let them be the greatest in the kingdom, sitting at Jesus's left and right hands. The other disciples didn't take kindly to that. Following their complaints, Jesus launches into another teaching about humility. How long will it take for the disciples to get it? Andrew and Edwin discuss the disciples and the need for humility again. In the kingdom, we don't ascend to greatness, we descend to service.
