Psalm 51: The God Who Forgives
Psalm 51
This is, perhaps, the second most well-known psalm in the whole book (the first is, of course, Psalm 23). In this psalm, David seeks forgiveness. Andrew and Edwin ask, "Why?" David's sins were egregious and awful. Why would he remotely think he could find mercy and forgiveness in God? It is a powerful psalm calling on God's name as the one who forgives iniquity, transgression, and sin.
